How do you register observations with a phone or tablet?
1. Identify
Select the object the observations are about. This can be done manually or automatically, using a barcode or RFID scanner for example.
2. Gather data
Record your data. This can be done manually by typing the values on your tablet or smartphone. But it can also be done automatically using a connection with scales or a brix meter for example.
3. Data validation
During the observation process, data validation is carried out using previously entered data restrictions. For instance, have you previously defined ‘quality’ with a score between 1 and 5? Then you will receive an error message if 6 is entered by mistake.
4. Send data
Send recorded data to your back office system. This can be done simply with a wifi connection and without any intermediate steps, because the data has already been validated.
